One evening at Beachside Café in Santa Barbara, over the sundowner special—salmon, buttery garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus—our family watched the sun dip into the Pacific before heading to watch UCSB face Pepperdine in volleyball. In that quiet moment, a simple question was asked: What should we name this new real estate company?
For my dad, my greatest teacher in “winning the day”—Gary Colson (NCAA Hall of Fame Coach), and his longtime friend Jerry West ( NBA logo). They were my
mentors who, for over 50 years, reinforced the principles behind great leadership, discipline, and winning the day.
